To support relief efforts in Haiti, Turkey Hill launched a program which enabled customers to donate to the American Red Cross at cash registers in our stores. Turkey Hill matched up to $10,000 in customer donations, which ended January 31.
On October 2, 2009, we opened the doors of Store #289, at 1140 N. Church Street, Hazle Township, PA.
On September 25, Turkey Hill added another store in Berks County at 2600 Conrad Weiser Parkway, Womelsdorf, PA, 19567. Located at the southeast corner of U.S. Route 422 and PA Route 419.
Turkey Hill is pleased to add another store in Cumberland County, PA, with the grand opening on July 9, 2009, of Store #294, 6708 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg at the northwest corner of Carlisle Pike (U.S. Route 11) and Rich Valley Road.
July 3, 2009 marked the grand opening of Turkey Hill Store #300, 257 South Main Street, Pittston, Pennsylvania. The Turkey Hilda Roadshow was on hand for the grand opening festivities.
