The Weitzel Foundation raised over $12,000 with your support.

Turkey Hill Field was the venue for a benefit lacrosse game for the Ryan Weitzel Foundation. Ryan Weitzel is a junior lacrosse player at Lampeter Strasburg High School who is dying of cancer. Turkey Hill, with the help of its vendors, donated hot dogs, buns, candy, chips and drinks to the concession stand so that all proceeds would go to the foundation.

Penn Manor donated its gate sales to the foundation and Turkey Hilda took a collection for the foundation as well. The game was on April 19, 2008. Turkey Hill Field is located at Comet Field.

The benefit raised $12,000 for the Ryan Weiztel Foundation, Hospice of Lancaster County, and John Hopkins.
